A woman with curly, purple-tipped hair sitting on a floral-patterned sofa outdoors, holding a vintage camera, with tattoos on her arms, wearing a black T-shirt featuring a cat, and a pink skirt, in a lush green setting.

Hey, I’m Tisha

A woman with purple hair smiling while holding a camera in an outdoor mountainous landscape with snow-capped peaks in the background.
A smiling woman with purple curly hair wearing a red floral dress, sitting on a white chair, is holding a young donkey's halter. A man in a white short-sleeve shirt and beige pants stands next to her, resting his hand on the donkey. They are outdoors in a grassy field with trees in the background during sunset.

I am just your average horse-crazy girl that will baby talk your dogs and try to pet every barn cat I see. I live for chasing sunsets and am fueled by oatmilk lattes and Vietnamese food. I may not be able to name a single song on the radio but can gossip with you about some trashy reality TV.

Though I call Iowa home, I have a passion for exploring every inch of this beautiful world we live in and can often be found road-tripping cross-country and hiking national parks all while making friends with fellow horse people to befriend along the way. When I am not galivanting around to new places petting ponies, you can find me at a hanging with friends and family; digging for hidden gems at a thrift store; playing fetch with my donkey in the pasture; or cozied up on the couch with a cheesy romance novel under a pile of dogs.

I have a terrible fear of missing out and guilty of cramming my calendar with everything I can however I rarely regret it. Need a buddy to drive thousands of miles on a whim to adopt a African Tortoise while stopping to collect stray dogs along the way? I am your girl! (And yes, that is a true story!)

My love for photography came from my late grandma — the woman who raised me and who I owe so much in life to. Growing up she documented every aspect of my life from the first time I smiled to playing in puddles after a summer rain storm to showing my horse at the county fair. Because of her love of documenting life I have hundreds of photos from my childhood to cherish and a love for photography I now share with the world.

Whether it be a candid from a disposable camera or a professional portrait — I believe that a single photo can shift your mood and evoke emotions you never knew existed. Because I believe in the power of photography I want to give my clients more than just their next profile picture but rather memories that not only they will love but future generations will appreciate too.

With over 15 years in the business, countless published images, and international awards in photographic arts, I’m proud of the trust my clients place in me. My goal is simple: to deliver images that make your heart smile and provide heirloom products that stand the test of time.
